  • The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Now that I’ve had a chance to marinate my thoughts. I thought I’d give this review a whirl.

My dad and I went to the theatre to watch this production of ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and it was EXCEPTIONAL. The obvious stand out was Aslan, I mean gosh the props department needs an obvious raise, or a shoutout for the intricacies of making the lion out of wood.

I also how the stage was set, it was very believable that the children were outside/ on the train. If you are going to watch something, make sure you go and watch this, as this is a performance of a lifetime!

It even made me want to rewatch the film which is perfect considering we went within the Xmas period. Hell, I even want to read the whole cook collection, it was that good.

  • Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

This is a late review, but let me tell you the theatre production was definitely worth watching.

If you don’t know what this show is about, it is about drag queens and their experience getting from one place of Australia to another to help someone out and perform a show for them.

The queens who go experience homophobia which isn’t very nice, but while the storyline isn’t heavily focused on that, the whole musical is about them finding themselves while travelling in their minivan named Pricilla.

If you love drag and camp music, I think this show is fantastic and the right fit for you. I’m so pleased to have watched this.

The actors and the outfits were out of this world!!!!!

A definite 4.25 stars from me.

  • Friends: The musical parody.

When you think of the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S you wouldn’t think it would work as a musical. But, I’m happy to report that it did. It was wonderful.

The cast looked unbelievably like the friends characters, and the way they did the set was just incredible. It felt just like a television set. They even had a comedian to make sure the audience was set for the upcoming sketch.

Even though the songs weren’t memorable, the way this work was just fabulous, it was hilarious and I’m surprised this wasn’t any longer because I would’ve stayed if it were.

Now, you’re probably thinking, what did they do, a show or some of the audiences favourite parts? It was the latter, and the way they did it was just so phenomenal, this show deserves its flowers.

So, if you’re looking for something new to watch and you are a F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan, I recommend going to this, I would rate this a solid 4.75 stars.
