The Met Gala 2025. It happens on the first Monday of May. This brief was just divine and was one of my favourite themes. A$AP Rocky was appointed Chair of the event as well as Lewis Hamilton and other artists, and the theme celebrated ‘Black’ dandyism.
In layman’s terms dandyism is more of a lifestyle than a concept. It wanes more towards the masculine side of the spectrum, and emphasises someone’s opulence and attention to detail. Moreover, it is focused on the 19th century masculine fashion if we were talking about it from a historical perspective.
